West End Riding Club is an active British Horse Society affiliated riding club attracting both Senior and Junior members from a wide area of Mid Sussex. We traditionally hold one large summer horse show and a few winter dressage competitions that are both open to members and non members. The shows are always well supported, often with full classes.
Due to popular demand, in 2007 we are planning to increase the number of competitions the club holds, we will be introducing indoor showjumping and evening dressage competitions for the first time. We intend to produce an omnibus schedule to cover the full years competitions running from April 2007 to December 2007, with an initial print run of 6,000 schedules. All West End Riding Clubs competition dates are regularly advertised in the local equestrian press, and schedules are distributed through local saddlerys and feed merchants.
The shows are run to raise funds for the club, to enable us to offer subsidised training to members and enter teams in both area and national competitions. We also try to make a donation annually to the local riding for the disabled group. |
